The Silhouette Factor

coldplayHaving a committed and focused team is more important than ever. Being sure you are reaching your audience—be it colleagues, staff, members or stakeholders—is critical to your success as a leader.  So how can you be sure you’re message is getting through?  In a CBS News’ 60 Minutes interview  Chris Martin, the lead singer of British band Coldplay says he watches the doorways at the back of the venues to decide which songs are working and which aren’t for the audience. As a leader, how do you know when you have the undivided attention of your group? What’s your silhouette factor?
